Cookies and legislation 

The amended Electronic Communications Act (Official Journal No 109/2012; hereinafter ZEKom-1), which entered into force at the beginning of 2013, introduced new rules on the use of cookies and similar technologies to store or access information stored on a user's computer or mobile device. Cookies are not new, the law only affected the way website users are informed and consent to their use.

What is a cookie?

Our website may place a so-called "cookie" on your computer's browser. Cookies are small text files that give us information about how many times an individual visits our site and what interests them during those visits.
